MEDICAL ASSISTANT OUTLYING Monay - Friday 10am-7pm
About The Position
Sun Life Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and patient care across multiple outlying sites. The role includes assisting with patient preparation, examinations, immunizations, laboratory testing, and phlebotomy; educating patients about medications, preventive care, and self-management goals; and maintaining accurate documentation, clinic standards, and equipment and supply readiness. The Medical Assistant also provides front desk support with check-in and check-out, payments, and scheduling, and serves as a professional liaison among patients, providers, and other facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification is required; it can be obtained during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) is preferred; eligible for certification pay differential.
- 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
