About The Position

Sun Life Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care across multiple outlying sites. The role supports providers and helps ensure smooth patient care, including preparing patients, assisting with exams, immunizations, laboratory testing, and phlebotomy. The Medical Assistant also educates patients about medications, preventive care, and self-management goals; maintains accurate documentation and clinic standards; and keeps equipment and supplies ready. The position includes front desk support such as patient check-in and check-out, payments, and scheduling. The Medical Assistant serves as a professional liaison among patients, providers, and other facilities. The listed location is Coolidge FP in Coolidge, Arizona, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
CPR certification is required; it can be obtained during orientation.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) is preferred; certification pay differential is available to eligible certified staff.
2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
