As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping the practice running efficiently while working closely with providers, patients, and families in a fast-paced specialty care setting. Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
Responsibilities
- Support efficient patient flow throughout the practice.
- Assist during office visits, including rooming patients and supporting examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.
- Perform clinically appropriate care coordination tasks, such as general patient guidance, test results, prescription refill support, and related follow-up needs.
- Maintain neat, clean, organized, and safe patient care areas.
- Interact with patients and families in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.
