About The Position

The Medical Assistant performs back-office activities that support providers in conducting quality primary care clinics. Duties include administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys, and other procedures. The role delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality-control standards. The position is located at 3048 E. Baseline Rd, Mesa. Overtime is eligible at time and a half. The role offers opportunities for career development and training for other roles.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED.
Completion of a Medical Assistant program or Military Medic program.
Current CPR and/or BLS certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in an ambulatory care setting.
Experience with multiple EMR/EHR systems, such as EPIC, E-Clinical Works (ECW), Allscripts Practice Management (APM), NextGen, or Cerner.
Bilingual in Spanish.
