About The Position

The Medical Assistant performs back-office activities to support providers in conducting quality clinics. Duties include administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys, and other procedures. The role delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality-control standards.

The position offers an external-candidate sign-on bonus of $4,000 after 30 days of employment, overtime eligibility at time and a half, and potential annual performance bonuses. Employees accrue paid time off beginning with their first pay period and receive nine paid holidays. Career development and training for other roles are available.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or Military Medic program.
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in an ambulatory care setting.
• Experience with multiple EMR/EHR systems, such as EPIC, E-Clinical Works (ECW), Allscripts Practice Management (APM), NextGen, or Cerner.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
