About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant for a pediatric position. Pediatric experience is preferred. The role supports patient care and office procedures in a compassionate-care environment. The position is associated with a listed pay range of $18.66 to $30.79 per hour. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for select positions through December 31, 2026.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience is preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic is preferred.

Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs.
Enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR).
Set up and assist with office procedures.
Chaperone providers during patient examinations.
Take pre-operative and post-operative patient photos.
Maintain surgical instruments and transport them to Central Sterile (CSS).
Process surgical specimens and transport them to Pathology.
Maintain and stock examination rooms.
Order clinical supplies.
Complete FMLA and disability forms.
Clean and reset examination rooms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
