About The Position

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you will be part of the clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to help deliver care to patients. The position is in an outpatient primary care clinic. It requires at least two 8-hour shifts every six weeks, with the possibility of working additional part-time hours when needed and available. Initial training requires at least part-time hours for 4–8 weeks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 120 days.
• One of the following certifications required within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
• Available to work at least two 8-hour shifts every 6 weeks.
• Able to train at a minimum of part-time hours for the initial 4–8 weeks.
