Requirements
- Demonstrate basic efficiency in using electronic medical records and general computer technology, accurate typing, and proper grammar.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent training program.
- Basic medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for office visits, including taking vital signs, recording the chief complaint, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with examinations, medication administration, and point-of-care testing.
- Coordinate referrals and gather information for medication pre-authorizations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Restock examination rooms and manage clinical inventory.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
