About The Position
Pediatrics of Southwest Houston is seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Assistant with at least one year of pediatric care experience. The role supports efficient patient flow, assists with patient care and examinations, performs in-office procedures, and provides patient education. The position is clinic-based and in person in Bellaire Land, Texas.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics.
- Experience managing the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
- Strong teamwork skills in a medical setting.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic lab testing knowledge.
- Proficiency using computers.
- Certified Medical Assistant certification is required.
- Must reliably commute to Bellaire Land, TX 77401, or plan to relocate before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Record vital signs for all visiting patients.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation for office visits.
- Assist in scheduling procedures with the hospital.
- Support patient flow and care, assist with examinations, perform in-office procedures, and provide patient education.
