About The Position

Corewell Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its pediatric neurology outpatient clinic in Grand Rapids. The role is part of the clinical support team and works closely with other healthcare professionals to help deliver patient care. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training, or at least one year of experience working specifically as a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic, or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
• Obtain one of the following certifications within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).

Responsibilities
