About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team in Mesa, Arizona. The role supports patient care across dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery, contributing to a high-quality patient experience in a collaborative clinical environment. The Medical Assistant prepares patients for examinations, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, performs basic laboratory tasks, maintains records, coordinates appointments and office communications, and educates patients. The role may also support clinic social media and community engagement efforts as directed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures and ensure necessary instruments are available.
Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
May support the clinic’s social media presence by gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement as directed.
