About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team in Mesa, Arizona. The role supports patient care in dermatology and aesthetics, including skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. The Medical Assistant helps provide a high-quality patient experience in a collaborative clinical environment by assisting with examinations and procedures, maintaining patient records, supporting clinic operations, and educating patients. The role may also support the clinic’s social media presence through clinic-approved content and community engagement activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
Assist the physician during examinations and procedures and ensure necessary instruments are available.
Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
May support the clinic’s social media presence by gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement as directed.
