About The Position
Sentara Comprehensive Care is seeking to hire a Medical Assistant for a Full-Time Days position in Norfolk, VA. Qualified candidates can receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The Medical Assistant will perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)

- Base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly.
