About The Position

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you will be a member of the clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to help deliver the best possible care. The position is with the Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine practice in Greenville. Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, including over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices.

This is a full-time, day-shift position scheduled for 40 hours per week. Work hours and days vary between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Corewell Health offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus to external applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills, or at least one year of experience working specifically as a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic, or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with an MA scope of practice.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• One of the following certifications required within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
