About The Position

The Medical Assistant supports healthcare teams with clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. The role includes direct patient interaction, collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff, and helping ensure efficient care and patient comfort. This onsite role is based at an Internal Medicine practice at 194 North Street in Danvers, Massachusetts, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The typical schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Wednesday as a shorter day starting at 8:00 AM. The Medical Assistant will be paired 1:1 with a provider who is in the clinic three days per week. The practice describes itself as a fully staffed, collaborative team with an involved Medical Director and supportive leadership. It includes six physicians, four nurse practitioners, and 10 Medical Assistants, and aims to maintain a 1:1 provider-to-MA ratio. Clinical educators and onsite preceptors provide hands-on training and real-time guidance. The workplace culture celebrates team achievements, milestones, and special moments.
