About The Position

Medical Assistant in a high-volume outpatient clinic serving more than 100 patients per day across 15 providers. The role requires recent venipuncture experience, including drawing 1–5 vials of blood from each patient, familiarity with Epic, and willingness to work with pediatric patients. The Medical Assistant will float to Culver IM/FM. Scheduling requests can be accommodated, but no time off requests are permitted during the first two weeks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Flu vaccination; declinations and exemptions are not accepted.
• Recent experience or expertise with venipuncture.
• Epic experience.
• Willingness to work with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Draw 1–5 vials of blood from each patient in a high-volume clinic.
• Float to Culver IM/FM.
• Work with pediatric patients.
