About The Position
Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for its patient-centered women’s health practice. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and other care team members to support compassionate, high-quality care and a positive patient experience. The role rotates between the East Lansing and Mason locations as needed. The schedule is a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts. There are no night, weekend, or holiday hours, and schedules are posted months in advance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- RMA or CMA certification, or a Medical Assistant certificate or diploma from a credentialed institution.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- OB/GYN experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vital signs, and document in the medical record.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform fetal heart tone checks.
- Set up and support non-stress tests for pregnant patients.
- Provide excellent customer service and patient education.
- Rotate between the East Lansing and Mason locations as needed to support clinic operations.
