About The Position

Saline Clinic, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its patient-centered clinic in Benton, Arkansas. The Medical Assistant supports physicians and nurses in providing patient assessments and treatments, diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and documentation. The role also includes maintaining medical equipment, supplies, and examination areas, as well as performing assigned administrative and clerical duties. The team emphasizes collaboration, compassion, clear communication, and safe, high-quality care.

This is a full-time, day position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The required credential is CMA, RMA, or CCMA through AAMA or NHA, and Basic Life Support certification is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA credential through AAMA or NHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain examination areas.
• Perform assigned administrative or clerical duties, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and teammates.
