About The Position

Saline Clinic, part of Saline Health System and Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support care in its surgery and weight loss clinic in Benton, Arkansas. Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, the Medical Assistant helps assess and treat patients, performs basic diagnostic procedures and collects specimens, monitors and communicates changes in patient condition, and documents care. The role also maintains equipment, supplies, and examination areas and performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned. The position is full-time, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The team emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, compassion, and clear communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA credential through the AAMA or NHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain examination areas.
• Perform assigned administrative or clerical duties, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and teammates.
