About The Position

The Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care and with clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role includes scheduling appointments and managing charts, providing patients with information so they can fully use and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• Current BLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current certification.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a public-contact job.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience; listed as preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification; listed as preferred.
• Work experience in health care.
