About The Position

The Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role includes scheduling appointments and managing charts, providing information to patients so they can fully use and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Must have BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire, except in Cardiology Practices.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of six months of experience in Urgent Care, a Primary Care physician practice setting, and/or direct patient care experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience or an EMT license is preferred.
