About The Position
The Medical Assistant assists staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine patients’ physical and psychological needs and to identify and address health problems. The role performs selected treatments, diagnostic procedures, and routine duties. The Medical Assistant functions as a member of the healthcare team, with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies. Direct patient care is provided to patients of all ages.
