About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner Group, LLC is seeking Medical Assistants to support medical staff during readiness exams at a USSS hiring event. The role involves performing clinical duties in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. The event takes place quarterly, approximately every three months, and candidates may join the pool of event staff. Applicants do not need to be available for every event day, but must be available for the full shift on each day they commit to work. Training is scheduled for Friday afternoon, August 14. Exams run Saturday, August 15 through Tuesday, August 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Compensation is $28 per hour, with a $100 travel per diem for staff whose primary residence is more than 50 miles from the event location.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program.
- Experience and competency with phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, EKG, PFT, vital signs, and visual acuity testing.
- Must pass a basic background check; no security clearance is required.
- Must be available for the full shift on each event day committed to.
