About The Position
The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, rooms patients, completes clinical documentation, and supports general medical assistant needs in an outpatient clinic network. The position requires flexibility to float to affiliate clinics or units as clinically needed. The role uses the Cerner EMR system and requires matching scrubs of any color. This is a temporary contract position with a weekday day schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend and on-call work are not required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of medical assistant practice experience.
- Willingness and flexibility to float across practices.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
