Medical Assistant (MA): Float Pool
About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) Float Pool supports clinical practice operations by performing administrative and clinical tasks. The role assists physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care, including preparing patients, collecting vital signs, documenting care, and performing basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. This part-time position is based in the Quad Cities Area and is scheduled for 24 hours per week on weekdays, Monday through Friday, during the day shift.
Requirements
- Successfully completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration is required within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification or registration prior to hire is preferred.
