About The Position
The Medical Assistant works in orthopedics and sports medicine at both the Kirkland and Seattle clinic locations, and also supports Rehabilitation Medicine providers in clinic. The role performs individualized patient procedures, treatments, and tests; completes related clerical tasks such as preparing charts, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones; and provides advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring clinic flow. The posting notes a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Current Medical Assistant–Certified designation from the Washington Department of Health (DOH).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Current National Medical Assistant Association certification; eligible for a premium.
- Current medical assistant experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and/or medical screening and immunization.
Responsibilities
