About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its Health Services Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The role performs administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performs required procedures and tasks as directed. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 80 hours biweekly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
