About The Position
Saint Luke's Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Neurology Clinic at the South location. The role assists providers and the nursing team in delivering professional medical care. The position is based at the South location and may float to other clinic locations within the metro area as needed. The Medical Assistant must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. The role may also cover front office duties as needed.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification: CMA, NRCMA, RMA, or CCMA.
- BLS certification.
- Applicable experience listed as less than one year.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-visit planning.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Use the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Scan and download documents.
- Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
- Perform telephone screening using protocols.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Assist with procedures as needed.
- Cover front office duties as needed.
- Perform other duties based on clinic needs.
