Part-Time Medical Assistant (Integrative Medicine)
About The Position

The Medical Assistant is an important member of the clinical team, helping create a positive patient experience in an integrative, outpatient-care setting. The ideal candidate is energetic, dedicated, friendly, organized, reliable, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and customer-service oriented. They communicate professionally and compassionately and are comfortable using computers and clinical skills.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience or equivalent education or training.
- Comfort using Chromebooks, G Suite, and similar tools.
- Maintain a positive, caring, and empathetic demeanor.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately.
- Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices.
- Commitment to the employer's COVID safety protocols.
- Provide proof of COVID vaccination before starting employment.
- Must be available Fridays.
Nice To Haves
- An undergraduate degree or some college.
- A medical assistant certificate.
Responsibilities
- Help provide an excellent patient experience.
- Check patients in and out of the clinic.
- Help manage patient intake and other medical forms.
- Room patients, including pushing patients in a wheelchair when necessary.
- Use clinical skills to check vital signs and monitor patients throughout treatment.
- Prepare rooms between patients.
