About The Position

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their Griswold Center, their newest outpatient clinical site located in Palmer, MA. This is an exciting position for a medical assistant who wants to make a positive impact to the population served. The Medical Assistant is an integral part of the client’s service team. They will have the ability to use an electronic medical record for chart review and telehealth appointments, develop supportive relationships with clients, interact with clients in order to assess needs, obtain vital signs, complete PAs, coordination of medical and psychiatric care with clients’ support network (e.g. family members, other service providers), active collaboration with other agencies to coordinate client treatment, liaison with local pharmacies to fill prescriptions for clients’ medications, and prepare lab requests and obtain results.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• 1 year experience in a medical/clinical practice required
• Experience with Prior Authorizations preferred
• Medication Administration (MAP) Certifications preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certificate, preferred
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
