About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting, with a specific need for experience in OBGYN procedures. The position requires flexibility for floating to different locations as needed. The shift is 8 hours between 0600-1800, with no weekend requirements. No scheduling requests can be accommodated.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• 1 year of experience in OBGYN.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
• Experience with PAP, Colpo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST.
• HS/GED education.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAP, Colpo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST.
• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
• Float to Playa Vista OBGYN as needed.
