About The Position

As a Medical Assistant, you will work at our onsite outpatient clinic. You will report to the Center Administrator at our Anderson, SC location. You will perform clinical duties such as: Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs, Medication/vaccine administration, Phlebotomy and collecting specimens, Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms, Documenting information into the electronic medical records system. Use your skills to make an impact. This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• CPR Certified

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of MA experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication
