About The Position

Sun Life Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and help deliver patient care. The role includes interacting respectfully with patients, families, and team members; assisting with patient education, preventative care, and follow-ups; administering immunizations and medications and performing lab testing; maintaining accurate documentation and clinic standards; keeping patient rooms, supplies, and equipment ready and safe; and serving as a liaison with providers, specialists, and other offices. The position is located at the Campus in Casa Grande, Arizona, and works 4/10-hour shifts Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is required; it can be obtained during orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) is preferred; certification makes the employee eligible for a pay differential.
• 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support providers and ensure smooth patient care.
• Interact respectfully with patients, families, and team members.
