We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization. The Medical Assistant Supervisor is a clinical leadership role responsible for supervising and supporting medical assistants and related care team staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, this role oversees daily clinic operations, patient flow, clinical quality measures, staff performance, and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Active MA-C license or LPN license in Washington State
- Minimum 2 years ambulatory care experience; supervisory experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and clinical support staff
- Ensure clinical quality measures, infection control, and regulatory standards are met
- Support patient flow and provider productivity (18–21 patients per provider/day)
- Manage staffing schedules, huddles, referrals, phone messages, and patient grievances
- Assist with clinical care, procedures, injections, and patient assessments as needed
- Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and support quality improvement efforts
- Promote excellent customer service using the AIDET model
