Join Our Team: Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to manage medication Prior Authorizations for our South County Internal Medicine office located at 5034 Griffin Road!
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of general diagnoses and medications.
- Formal training which will may be be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- EMR/EHR experience.
- PC/Windows proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Complete medication Prior Authorizations
- Cover "My Meds" medication software
- Review chart note and records/diagnosis and provide appropriate supporting documentation to insurance companies
- Document in the EMR system (NextGen)
