Medical Assistant Physician Office Supervisor
About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant Physician Office Supervisor to lead and empower clinic staff. This role involves directing hiring, onboarding, daily workflows, and performance development to foster a high-performing, supportive patient care team. The supervisor will also deliver direct patient care, including preparing exam rooms, gathering vital signs, and conducting patient interviews. Additionally, they will support provider workflows by assisting physicians and registered nurses with clinical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments, and ensure operational excellence and safety by guiding team compliance with clinical policies, regulatory standards, and departmental quality protocols.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
