Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative

About The Position
The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative provides healthcare services to individuals under the instruction of a Physician or APP. The role performs routine clinical procedures, participates in patient education, enters appropriate documentation into patient health records, and carries out other assigned duties within the scope of certification. The position is required to report during inclement weather. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- National or Registered Medical Assistant Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice is preferred.
