About The Position

Join ProHealth Care's Heart & Vascular Center and become part of a collaborative outpatient cardiology team supporting our growing Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinics. You'll work alongside experienced physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinical support staff to provide exceptional cardiovascular care for patients throughout their care journey. Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or equivalent clinical training program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset with the flexibility to support multiple providers.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic or an electronic medical record preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for outpatient cardiology appointments.
• Obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation, health histories, and accurately document patient information in Epic.
• Perform EKGs, Point of Care testing, specimen collection, and other delegated clinical treatments.
• Administer medications and vaccinations in accordance with ProHealth Care policy.
• Support a team of Advanced Practice Providers caring for established cardiology patients, including hospital follow-up and ongoing cardiovascular care.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, prescription refill requests, and follow-up appointments.
• Assist with shared clinical responsibilities, including patient messages, refill requests, and in-basket management.
• Collaborate across the cardiology team to ensure efficient clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience.
