Join our growing company dedicated to quality care at Frontier Dermatology! Position Details: Overview: Do you enjoy caring for patients in a surgical setting in order to eradicate their skin cancer? Join our Mohs Surgery team as a dermatology Medical Assistant! Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Mohs team, and General Dermatology) Location: Longview primary location, travel required to other locations such as Gresham, Portland, Vancouver (travel reimbursed) Typical Schedule: Mondays - Thursdays, 7:30am - 5:00pm Wage Range: $22.50 - $29.00 hourly (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Requirements

• Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Highly organized
• Very detail oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a surgical setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Rooming and caring for patients for the duration of their surgery
• Assisting the Mohs Surgeon
• Patient education
• Daily patient tasks
• Assisting in general dermatology on non-surgical days
