About The Position
Baptist Orthopedics is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Seven Pines office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM. The experienced candidate will perform clinical support such as rooming patients, preparing x-rays, and assisting the providers. Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations. Requirements
- 3-5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physicians
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
