About The Position

Baptist Orthopedics is seeking a Medical Assistant II for its Walk-In clinic in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide clinical support, including patient rooming, X-ray preparation, and assisting providers.
Requirements
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physicians
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
