The interdisciplinary team aims to alleviate fears, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life through effective communication, consistent care, and coordination. It emphasizes starting care at the time of diagnosis and adopts a holistic approach to manage symptoms. Palliative care can complement curative treatments and is designed to align with the patient's personal care goals. Palliative Care | ChristianaCare Cecil County. The Medical Assistant II ensures high-quality patient care, assists providers with virtual and on-site exams and treatments, and provides leadership by mentoring staff and supporting practice operations. Rotation between sites and specialties is a required component of this position.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
  • 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant is required
