About The Position

ChristianaCare's Primary Care at New Castle practice is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant II with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. ChristianaCare's Primary Care at New Castle offers primary medical care for adults. Providing quality healthcare services including Immunizations, Physical examinations, Minor medical procedures and Lab services on-site. The Medical Assistant II ensures high-quality patient care, assists providers with virtual and on-site exams and treatments, and provides leadership by mentoring staff and supporting practice operations.

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant is required
