About The Position
Millennium Physician Group is hiring an experienced, patient-focused Medical Assistant for a float role supporting primary care and specialty clinics across Collier County, Florida. The home base is 400 8th St. N, Naples, FL 34102. The position supports patient care and clinic operations in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday role. Hours vary between 7 AM and 7 PM, and the employee must be available until at least 5:30 PM. The posting states no weekends, nights, or holidays. The anticipated compensation range is $20–$30 per hour; the description also lists $20–$25 per hour based on experience. The Medical Assistant prepares patients and exam rooms, maintains medical records and supplies, and supports scheduling, front desk tasks, patient communication, and daily clinic flow. The role is primarily sedentary, with occasional lifting and frequent hand and wrist movements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience; primary care experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation for travel among locations across Collier County.
- Front desk experience or willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A friendly, professional, team-oriented approach to patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Primary care experience.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish or English and Creole.
- Experience with Athena EMR.
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Greet patients, take vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for visits.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Monitor and restock medical supplies.
- Support scheduling, front desk duties, patient communication, and daily clinic flow.
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, patient-centered environment.
