ChristianaCare's Women's Health Silverside is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Responsibilities
- Greets and supports patients virtually and in person.
- Prepares patients for visits.
- Performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs).
- Assists with exams.
- Maintains exam rooms and equipment.
- Manages EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
- Handles clerical duties.
- Troubleshoots video visits.
- Supports patient portal access.
