About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a clinical medical assistant role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in multiple clinical settings or as a float medical assistant.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic.
  • Additional certifications such as phlebotomy or EKG technician.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills demonstrated in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with patient education and health promotion activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support such as taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing correspondence.
  • Adapt quickly to different clinical environments and workflows while maintaining consistent quality of care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to facilitate smooth operations across multiple locations.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary to support clinical activities.
