About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant in our thriving Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine West Clinic located in Southwest Beaverton. This role is crucial in providing patients with the highest value care tailored to their needs, embodying the clinic's mission of delivering world-class care with kindness and empathy. You will ensure a consistent, efficient, and easy experience for patients and stakeholders, contributing to the delivery of exceptional care. The position involves assisting medical staff, performing tests, scheduling appointments, updating records, and supporting overall patient care within the department.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required
• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience is required
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Specialty Care Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is a plus
• ACLS may be required by specialty

Responsibilities

• Assisting the medical staff by collecting information
• Escorting patients to exam rooms
• Preparing patients for examination
• Assisting with procedures
• Performing specialty-related tests/monitoring
• Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed
• Updating records as needed
• Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department
• Other duties as assigned
