About The Position
Orthopedic Associates (OA) is seeking an eager and compassionate Medical Assistant-Clinical to join its growing team at the Centerville office. The role supports orthopedic physicians and care teams in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant provides reassurance and clear communication to patients and may occasionally travel to other OA offices to provide support. Requirements
- Experience in the health care industry as a CMA, MA, STNA, CNA, PCT, or similar role.
- Must be able to provide required documentation stating that the employee is legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, including removing dressings, splints, casts, braces, staples, and sutures.
- Scribe HPI and verify patients' medical histories.
- Support physicians and care teams in providing efficient, high-quality care.
- Sterilize patient rooms and supplies.
- Serve as a trusted resource to patients by providing reassurance and clear communication.
- Occasionally travel to other OA offices to provide support.
