About The Position
Orthopedic Associates is seeking an eager and compassionate Medical Assistant-Clinical to join its growing team at the Springfield office. The role supports physicians and care teams in delivering efficient, high-quality orthopedic care and provides patients with reassurance and clear communication. The position may occasionally require travel to other OA offices to provide support. Candidates should be committed to excellent patient care and contribute to a professional, positive, respectful, dependable, collaborative, and adaptable workplace. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
- Healthcare industry experience as a CMA, MA, STNA, CNA, PCT, or similar.
- Be able to provide required documentation establishing legal authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, including removing dressings, splints, casts, braces, staples, and sutures; scribing HPI; and verifying medical history.
- Support physicians and care teams in providing efficient, high-quality care.
- Sterilize patient rooms and supplies.
- Provide patients with reassurance and clear communication.
- Occasionally travel to other OA offices to provide support.
