Medical Assistant/Clinical Support
About The Position
Contract Type: Full-Time Direct Hire (W2), part-time considered. Salary : MA: $18/hr-$24/hr | CNA/EMT: $16.50/hr-$21/hr. Location : Novi, MI. Be the teammate who makes a good visit possible. The work: Prepare patients and charts, obtain vital signs and histories, collect medication lists for clinician review, and document accurately in CGM APRIMA. Assist with specimen handling, ECGs, point-of-care testing, injections, or other tasks only when authorized and supported by training, competency, and required supervision. Help route refill requests, arrange referrals and track follow-up. Maintain supplies, equipment and safe workspaces. Office and field opportunities: Office, house-call support and blended assignments are considered. Field duties may include accompanying a provider or completing specifically delegated support tasks on an agreed route. Travel arrangements, supervision and assigned tasks are clarified before hire. This is not an independent diagnostic, prescribing or nursing-triage position. Field work requires a valid driver’s license and reliable insured transportation; a vehicle allowance or mileage applies under policy.
Requirements
- MA training or certification, CNA certification, EMT licensure, or relevant clinical training and demonstrated competency
- Credentials are not treated as interchangeable
- Current BLS is required for clinical assignments
- Reliability, accuracy, respectful communication, willingness to learn, and prompt escalation of concerns
- Valid driver’s license and reliable insured transportation (for field work)
Nice To Haves
- APRIMA, phlebotomy, primary care, geriatrics, home health, or hospice experience
- Qualified nursing students, pre-health and gap-year applicants are welcome for duties matched to their training
